I purchased the CD years ago and lost touch with it when I went MP3. Recently received an iPad (love it!) and came across Pilgrim Heart once again. Pilgrim Heart is timeless. I welcome hearing it again, and again, and again. Although the music might be considered an acquired taste to some, it is worth the effort. I read the review referencing the Ring Song as an exception to the 5 star rating; I felt this way over a decade ago but upon repurchasing Pilgrim Heart, I realize the Ring Song had been missed. It is now fun to hear and is viewed as an essential component to the album's mood. Pilgrim Heart is 100% 5 star by my taste. Give a listen, hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Great album --- minus the ring song. The album has a melodic and hypnotic flow. KD's voice is beautiful and it is not corny to hear a white man singing traditional Indian songs --- shows that the music transcends cultures. I would have tossed the Ring Song as it broke the flow for me.

So beautiful, heart opening, joy-inducing. My busy mind finds chanting to be a more direct path to spirit and serenity than other forms of prayer and meditation, and Krishna Das is the master.

I first heard Namah Shivia a few years ago and became addicted it and to KD's music. I love the voice, instruments and melodies, but it was much more than that, he was touching me very deeply. I began to understand that he is totally connected to his source when chanting, and I feel it and the music takes me with him.

I listened to this music when my room mate was playing it loud. Loved the voice of the singer. Though very different from the traditional Indian hymes, people will definitely enjoy it.

This CD rocks. I first heard it when my hippie mom was playing it in the kitchen and I can't stop listening to it. Even though it's religious it has a great beat and the voices are really cool. It’s awesome!

There is only one thing really to say about this album: It is is divine. The Mantra's merged in with the beautiful melodies Mr. Das has composed may even awaken the most unconscious of us. Good for easy listening as well as group meditations. Mountain Hare Krishna is in a league of its own!
