I saw this three-piece act from Michigan open for Virginia natives Carbon Leaf last night at City Winery in Chicago. If the endorsement from one of my all-time favorite bands wasn’t enough, they bowled me over with a fantastic 30-minute set. I’m an audio engineer by trade, so it isn’t unusual to find me dissecting and critiquing audio from others: but there is nothing to critique here.
Their song structure is incredibly mature, far more advanced than one might expect. And, the instrumentation isn’t lacking either - you’ll find a plethora of divergent sounds that aren’t just unique, but could redefine what acoustic music sounds like for decades to come.
Buy this record and support The Accidentals!

This is a young band with so much potential -- and already so much of it realized.
Their lyrics read like poems. Their musicianship is stellar. They are terrific live.
We first saw The Accidentals at Blissfest and then saw them open for Ben Solee in Chicago.
This trio is going places, for sure. We wish them all the best on what promised to be a fantastic journey.
Well done from so young.

High energy, cool harmonies, well constructed lyrics with an interesting feel to their composition. I’ll be catching their act in San Francisco this April, 2015.
Great tunes!!!

First time I heard Seave was on the streets in Traverse City MI - great to see how polished and deep these two have become in such a short time. Amazing how much these two have grown! Buy this album, you’ll love it!
