Beautiful, emotional and addicting. I don't think I have stopped listening to this soundtrack since I bought it -- and that was 2 weeks ago!. Brilliance!

This album is just picture perfect - about an year or so ago was Rockstar (5 stars). Rahman continues to surpass his best with each upcoming album. Dhanush s blessed to have such music for his Bollywood debut. Cheers ! Hope Maryan has an audio as brilliant as this one .. Looking forward.

I am the biggest Rahman fan around as I own everything he ever produced irrespective of the language. Sadly, this is not very good. Rahman has gone away from his signature style that made him famous, perhaps even got him the oscar, in favor of experimentation. Unfortunately such experimentation does not work and the album is worth listening in songs like tu mun shudi and nazar laye which oozes of his traditional style.

As usual..expectations arouse when i heard 'Tum tak' first with the movie preview. Then was released 'Tum tak'..even though we have heard similar stuff from ARR before..but seemed really fresh with beautiful lilting musical notes and melody. I completely loved this song. When its ARR even though you have the feeling that i have heard this before, you kind of ignore that feeling and embrace the new song. Thats the magic of his music. Then the title track, "Raanjhanaa" again a beautiful composition. Infact i felt may be this is better than "Tum Tak". Well for me both are really beautiful :) Then came "Tu Mun Shudi", again this song reminded of music we have heard from him before..a song from "Rang de basanti". Still would rate it good. Now the entire album is released..and to my surprise rest all tracks are so mediocre. "Phir Milenge" is slightly above mediocre. Well no one expected this from ARR. I wish he could have done a better job. Now a days, this is the trend with most of the music dirs. they have couple of chart busters to attract the audience initially and then when you listen to the entire album you feel you were cheated. ARR needs to do better, don't remember what his last decent complete album was..Raavan was good could have been better, Rockstar was the best of the lot lately..Jab tak hai Jaan (would say one of his terrible albums), Kadal was slightly refreshing. ARR sir we are missing your magic! My fav list is as follows Raanjhana (4/5) Tu Mun Shudi (3.5/5) Tum Tak (3.5/5) Piya Milenge (3/5) Next album i am awaiting is the Bhaag milkha bhaag.."Zinda" and "Mera Yaar" both superior in their own way..lets hope what the complete album has to offer.

Rahman sir is different than other music director in India. Some times I wonder how he come up with such tunes with so different lyrics 1. Tum tak 2. Tu man shudi 3. Raanjhnaa 4. Piya milenge
