I never heard of Conya Doss until Michael Baisden featured her on his show last year and I have been hooked ever since. I got a chance to see her perform in Bowie, Maryland. She and her background singers were excellent! The song "What I'd Do" is soooo hot. I love it.

How refreshing! Conya keeps music real! Her vocal and musical backgrounds are extremely grown and sexy. It's a very soothing and funky type of album, and I'm so glad she keeps coming back, with a soulful twist. She's not considered mainstream, but she might as well be. I really enjoyed this cd! Listening to the sound samples alone will make you purchase the cd. Cannot belive that I've never heard any of this music on the radio! Doss definitly deserves some air play, instead of some of the junk they keep playing over and over again.
