since I heard this song! I totally forgot about it until I ran across a Kaskade song with the same title! Why iTunes has this under Electronic makes me wonder if they know the difference between House, Trance and Techno. Beautiful song though!!
Brighter Days are Here Again!

House Music Lovers our anthem is here! There is nothing like rich vocals over a rich track. There is one mixed version that's missing from this album, that's all that. But this is a start. I can't wait to hear more house classics in this decade
Peace,
PattyMac
Timeless track.

Boy does this bring back memories! Glad to have been there when this track blew up! Every single mix is amazing. The one that was definitive (not to mention the second it started the collective crowd would gasp and run for the dancefloor!) is the underground goodies mix. That mix alone says it all.
This song takes me back......

The first time I heard this song was at the China Club in Chicago. Those were the days of really good house/club music. I highly recommend that you add this to your collection. You will not be sorry! It's songs like this that make me want to jump in my car, plug my IPOD in, roll down all the windows and blare the music.
Ms. Dajae is still on top

For those who do not know this is an epic record. Cajmere's beats and Dajae's angelic voice combine for one of house musics' most beautiful trax ever. I still remember the night I hear Ms. Dajae put it down live in SF. Back when David Harnes and Jay-J used to play at Lift... This record and the remixes are classic. Pick up the entire EP and listen to every track. You will hear where the modern day producers got their inspiration from. Close your eyes and truly listen to these trax. You will be uplifted and maybe we can all find a Brighter Day...
Lift Me UP

If you ever had the privilege of hearing this song at "The Horizon," or "Catch One" in LA in the early 1990's, you literally are one of the few and fortunate. Dajae let the children have it with her raw, gospel-like vocals. Our sessions were Church-going and spirit-lifting episodes. You really went into a --- Coma. For those of you who are still able to appreicate this work of art, you owe it to yourselves to purchse your copy-- especially the "Underground Goodies Mix-- and preserve it along with the other fond memoies that only our Black clubs can give.
thanx for the memories

These reissues are great but in my opinion by being a dj the best mix from the original ep and dance floor filler is the Underground Trance mix. It displays Dajae's heartfelt emotional vocal as well as Cajmere's uncanny ability to attack the ear with an energy of soulful deep HOUSE sound!!!!!
