    Radio edits/single edits are censorship!
  • What's with the pricing?

I was about to buy this grouping, when I read an earlier review, and saw that this grouping had a different version of one of the songs I wanted. Then I noticed that most of the hits could be bought on another album for $.69 a song, rather than $.99 per song. They appear to be the same versions, at different price points. I know this isn't all iTunes doing, but, at some point they should help the rights owners get their acts together.

The first three tunes really bring back memories of a time when listening to pop music could be easy -- no overproduced screaming instrumentals and no gospel-like wailing or hanging notes. Just nice and easy strumming and a flowing male vocal. Firefall still sounds good after all these years...
  • If It Weren't For The Edit.....

this ep would get five stars. "Strange Way" is not the album version, but the edit featured on their "Greatest Hits" collection. Like those of us who do not like remixes or extended versions of songs, I can't stand single edits. Too much of the production value is stripped away and the song that is left makes no sense out of context. Until the album version is available, I'm not interested.

This little five spot from these 70's "herbal"-esque country bubs is a down right tasty nugget that CRUNCHY COOKIE goes corn nutty for. My folks listened to this stuff too. I can still recall the verses between diaper changes. Look for my other reviews on i Tunes.
