A great score...but

This is one of those "why" musicals, as in why would we really be interested in these two odd brothers (not even Irving Berlin, who knew them, could successfully musicalize their lives). Okay, that said, there's a great score here, from the title song to "Boca Raton." And this album has perhaps the most sentimental song Sondheim has ever written, "A Little House for Mama." Whenever I'm feeling a little blue, I fire up Bounce on the iPod. Someday, who knows, perhaps this will make it into NY. For now, we can have the album.
