Warm and Tender makes me remember what it was like to be in love, once upon a time.

Simply put, this is one of my favorite albums of all time. I find myself drawn to it again and again. It never fails to lift my spirits and put a smile on my face. I actually have to make a point NOT to play it, and remove it from heavy rotation for a while. I tend to play it once...and then play it again. Every song is great; no clunkers. If you are looking to take a chance on something you are not familiar with, well, this is the one! Enjoy!

Wow... I loved Whiskeytown, I enjoy Ryan Adams, but Caitlin has truly found her songmate in Thad Cockrell. Take a listen to "Two Different Things" or the old Percy Sledge song "Warm & Tender". Beautiful together.
This album kicks serious butt!

Excellent writing, impeccable playing and dynamite hooks! It's a shame Caitlin can't get played on contemporary country radio - its just criminal that songs these good don't have greater exposure and she doesn't have a larger fan base.
Not sure why everyone here's taking shots at Ryan Adams; Cold Roses was excellent, too, even if the other 2005 albums were pretty uneven. However, maybe it's time to start talking about Adams and Cary's split being as big a loss for alt country fans as that of Uncle Tupelo's demise, which severed the legendary Tweedy-Farrar collaborative relationship.
STUNNING. Very deep and complex. Must Own.

Was reading Paste magazine and came across this as it was in their Top 50 releases of the year. This totally blew me away. By far my best download in years. I can listen to this non stop. If you like Ryan Adams, Jesse Sykes, you will LOVE this. Thad and Caitlin are magical together.
One of the best recordings of 2005

Begonias never seemed to leave my cd player for months after I received my copy of it. I would listen to every song... and then start again. This music is amazing!!!
The songs are well written... composed... performed... and recorded...
My favorites are "Two Different Things", "Conversations About A Friend", "Something Less Than Something More", and "Please Break My Heart".
Whiskeytown, is that you?

Just picked this up because I am a gi-normous Whiskeytown fan. Cary and Cockrell have a great sound going here. Great songs include Second Option, Something Less..., Don't Make it Better, and Conversations... Cockrell does resemble Ryan Adams in voice.
