  • Classical Ragas

G.S. plays serious music. This is the second album of Sachdev that I purchased. I use his music as a foundation to my contemplative sessions. These classical raga sounds are not simple and come with varied tempo. They give an acoustical feel for the power of the accompanied flute. Although a 30 second sample will not fully disclose the power of Sachnev's music. I suggest that a person looking to enhance introspective, meditation try it on.
  • Very haunting and meditative

Sachdev has a unique style on Indian flute - soft and meditative. Technically brilliant too. He reminds me more of Pannalal Ghosh. Great accompaniment on Tabla by Zakir - it shows that the two musicians have a great understanding. Patdeep is rarely heard these days and this album fills that need.
