This CD is amazing! It makes you smile and you can listen to it over and over again without getting tired of it. I have been listening to it since February and I still love it. Will is such a talented musician. We have seen him in concert several times and each time he amazes us. His musical talent on both instruments and his voice are incredible. We can't wait to see him in concert again. If you don't buy this album you are missing out :)

Had the pleasure of playing a couple of shows opening for BFT a few years back, killed me to hear the band was parting ways but Will's talent comes through with this album - love the opening track 'Being Young'

Great Stuff!! Easy listening from the first time through...makes you want listen to it over and over. Can't say enough...looking forward to the IRON HORSE with the SWEET REMAINS (3/2). Keep up the great work!!
  • Too over-produced for me

I'm a huge fan of Will and BFT, and I wanted to like this so much. The reality is that (at least in my opinion), they over-produced this CD and it takes away from what I love about Will's music. Just like Jason Mraz, they've taken someone very talented with great music and lyrics, and made him a pop-star wannabe. Who knows, maybe it'll sell better. I bet my wife likes it better. But not me. If they offered an acoustic version of this CD I'd be all over it.

If you haven't heard Will Evans before, check out Barefoot Truth as well as this album. The songs are not just easy to listen to, they're full of talent, character, variety and originality. I think I have to say that his music is some of the best modern music I listen to, and I do a lot of looking around for good music.

We were lucky enough to stumble upon Barefoot Truth two years ago at a show they did at Infinity Hall in Norfolk, CT, and we left that concert having been converted into rabid fans. We bought everything they'd recorded to date and have been to see them about five times since. When we heard they were "taking a break," we were devastated. Will and his bandmates (and guests such as the amazingly talented young prodigy, Jeff Howard) are so extremely talented. We are so happy to hear this terrific debut from Will. The vibe is great, the sound is awesome. We can't wait to hear him play at Infinity again on 3/1! Keep doing it, Will! We will keep listening and coming to see and hear you do your amazing stuff!

Being a big fan of his previous work with Barefoot Truth (of which he was the primary singer/songwriter) I figured knew what I was getting myself into, and I'm glad to say that I was right! Great album. Definitely worth the purchase!
