Soon as it starts you'll dance. This is the kind of music that will lift you from depression.

The grooves are somehow loose but oh so tight. It compliments an evening in just as well as an evening out, an afternoon strut or lounging around. Each track has it's own twists and turns that develop each time you listen. I constantly find myself getting lost in the bass lines, the drums, the guitar each on their own and am elated to experience how they come together with such ease and class.

Protools is not needed here. The music lives and breathes. This is where the funks starts.

a jaunty, syncopated rhythm in 2/4 time, often used in the rhythm and blues and jazz of New Orleans Origin: from the impromptu percussive rhythms of the row of mourners behind the band in a New Orleans funeral procession

I remember, as a nine year old, when I had a 7" vinyl 45 of "Cissy Strut".. I wore that record out! The funk here is too real sometimes!. This is great stuff.. slinky 'n slanky funk! Do investigate this music if you don't already know.
