This it an awesome, complete project. This guy has a sound that could compete with the best of them.

This is in my opinion Saxsmo's best effort yet. With great help from Fred Wesley (James Brown - The Hornie Horns - Bootsie), Smooth Jazz sax man Walter Beasley, Smooth Jazz guitarist Freddie Fox and smooth trumpeter Bill McGee. With a diverse selection of songs including some real strong originals like "Detailed a hit duet with Walter Beasley", "This Day Belongs To Me", "Rebirth", and "I Remember" along with some groovin' cover selections like Michael Jackson's "Unbreakable", "Remember The Time" both of which are 5 star renditions, then you have Chick Corea's "Spain" featuring Saxsmo, Fred Wesley and Walter Beasley, this song should win Saxsmo awards for arrangement and performance it is a blazing version with a full big band. How many smooth jazz cats can pull off a hot tempo chart like this? And don't sleep on "Have I Told You Lately I Love You?" featuring crooner Carlton Blount former Lead Singer of the Main Ingredient... while I am not impartial, being heavily involved, I just can't say it strongly enough this is one great CD and Saxsmo's performance can stand up to any of the so called big name jazz saxophonists... This music is Excellent !! This is a 5 Star CD !!
