Is this New Order or some kind of VERY-low-budget teenage Garage band trying to force music. Very tribal, but in a bad way. It's almost like the band was bored on a Sunday Afternoon and decided to go make an album because there's nothing else to do. Music is bad. Barney sounds bored and boring. This is NOT New Order. How in the world did the other Raters give it 5 Stars? Because it's New Order - or because it's actually good music? It's definitely NOT the latter in my books.
It's always good to have New Order

Even an average New Order record is better than 99% of the music out there

I own every New Order cd. I think this album is really good. Maybe I have just convinced myself that this is the last new New Order cd I will ever get, but it sounds great to me. Sumner is one of my favorite vocalist and guitar players. I wish these guys could get it together and keep recording. Until that happens, I will enjoy the music from the past they recorded.

Love the album and love the fact that they didn't change or compromise their sound. Now looking forward to great remixes.
An Average Addition to the New Order Discography

Be as it is, New Order clearly defined themselves throughout the 80's as one of the finest pop groups to have ever surfaced. They repeated history with the release of their classic album, Republic and brought about closure with the best of in 1995. Unfortunately everything that followed after this period was subpar of the standard we came to know.
We all keep waiting & hoping that New Order will release a comeback album that will blow us away but truth be told, it will probably never happen.
Lost Sirens is a collection of B-Sides that were recorded during the time of their last release, "Waiting on the Siren's Call" in 2005.
The songs have the classic signature we have come to know & a few tracks have some strong points too but it is clear that the first track, "I'll Stay With You" is probably the best track on the whole album.
If you are planning on buying. give it a listen first.
Beats that can't be beat!

What I like about this album is that the songs seem to transport me to different decades, late 80s, 90s, 2000s and this decade. Every song is particular, unique and they all sound like they belong somewhere, but they are not messy. New Order didnt try to fit with today's music, they just keep they sound clean and immortal. Love this album
Imperfect But It IS New Order So....

Some good tracks here, but also some cringe inducing lyrics. My favorite track so far is "Sugarcane." Not their best, but a must for any true fan. Like I was telling a friend earlier, even mediocre New Order (and not everything here is mediocre, some of it is really good) is better than most stuff out there.
hmm song in Lost Sirens also in Total (2011)
