Someone in the Music Biz needs to hear this! The lyrical style is poetic and expressive as well as stirring in a cool way. The stories told obviously have meaning to this artist. At the same time many of the lyrics can connect with anyone who’s had real life experiences. This collection is a first-rate mixture of raw turns of phrase as well as contemplative wordsmithing. The variety and mixture of tracks is a cool compilation. The blending of vocals with beats and hooks shows talent with a flair and finesse coming across at times subtle then other times superbly potent. I find the more this artist’s words are heard and internalized the more they influence a mood and the mood feels good! Other rappers trying to break out, I imagine, can only dream themselves into believing these tracks are the kind of word skills and performance talent they posses. I dare you to listen in on this collection a couple times.
