Guy Grams most definitely DELIVERS in this 11/12 track official record release! These joints just kept on bangin as I listened to the album straight through. When I'm listening to an album i just or recently purchased I usually find myself jumping around, skipping through most tracks, like sampling the albums content as if I was deciding whether or not I liked it enough to purchase.(even though I already have the). This album just had that ~something "eXtra" ~ you find in seasoned artist who've been pro for years. I didn't get one itch to press that next button, I just zoned out and listened to every song until it transitioned to the next. I'm not sure if I'm adequately conveying the magnitude of what makes this a Truly solid record. It's hard to explain with a description of the subtle nuance I'm speaking of here. I do know that if you're a fan of hip hop in its rawest form~ with a "boom bap" smooth flow that lays over a well produced rap beat seamlessly, you will enjoy this album a lot from the gate. It's quality without all that tricked out flossy glossy falseness that floods our ears and airwaves all too often with the mega produced pop rap that's diluting our ears and airwaves in mainstream hip hop these days. This review brought up issues about the music and industry itself it in what these days being through our "viral" tech savvy generations culture of how we create target and find music with it flooding us in through all channels at every angle. I had almost forgotten the difference between good, light entertaining, and bleh or just bad rap music I hear now. Thank goodness Guy Grams and this album came along and snapped me outa the mediocre haze I almost fell to. Simply put, reminded me and brought me to that place when hip hop embedded itself as the music I'm passionate about. Jams I live for, or live for me... Who knows, cause simply IS the key here, he puts it on ya no bull ish cowboy boney romo waxassness. 5 stars cz da dude is Straight TIGHT ....
