The excellence of composition, style, and tone are only rivaled by the voice and lyrics that make me nostalgic for things I’ve never even experienced.

This is one of my old favorites. I love what iron and wine has done since, but it is always refreshing to go back and listen to some earlier stuff!

My absolute favorite album...I love how gentle his voice is but how powerful the lyrics are...this is an album I am constantly getting people hooked on, it's great.

Man, I just discovered these guys and I'm a huge fan. Since I've loved folk music for all my thirteen years on this earth, this is such a saving grace from all the new, "hip", music. I discovered these guys on their new album, Ghost On Ghost.

This is an excellent album, and his best by far. It's relaxing and Sam is a very talented musician. It's one of those albums you can listen to beginning to end, middle to top to end to middle and every way you want. There is something about this album that just works it's really good stuff and it's too bad more music can't be like this. It's simple, like, very simple, and that's what makes it great. It doesn't take a lot of fancy stuff to make some good music. Five stars all the way. Good stuff.
