I love this CD but why did these stay in the can for Decades. Please put together another CD with more unreleased gems.

Ms Streisand is another Hollywood Liberal. Otherwise, I would gladly download this album...

I love " Release Me!" This is one of the best CD's I've ever heard! 1. I can relate to Being Good isn't good enough. 2. Didn't We brings a tear to my eye. 3. Willow weep for me is another sing that makes me cry. 4. Try to win a friend covers a break up that can end peacefully. 5. I think it's going to rain today is a catchy tune. 6. With one more look at you gets me excited. 7. Lost in Wonderland is fun song to listen to. 8. How are things in Glocca Morra showcases Barbara's great voice. 9. Mother & child is a treasure. 10. If it's meant to be has lyrics that ring true. 11. Home proves that Ms. Streisand is the best in show business.

I'll await the next of these duets as would a child expectantly looking toward christmas. Her gifts are eternal. There are flashes of times past related to songs that make them yesterday, at times. Even today. Time and time again.

Barbra fans, old and new, will be pleased with this new recording. Her voice is strong, her choice of material is perfect (as usual) and her interpretation flawless. I was delighted to hear the bluesy, soulful Barbra of my childhood, in addition to the knowing, steady Barbra of today. Lovely recording.

Yes these songs are from the vault. So what! There's a little of every genre for her fans, whom this album is clearly for. I truly love Streisand after all these these years, but listening to her pitch perfect voice is a joy complete. Highlights for me are "Being Good" by Jule Styne, "I Think It's Gonna Rain Today", "With One More Look at You", "Home". But the true standout is Anne Ronell's "Willow Weep For Me" arranged by the incomparable Ray Ellis. As far as I'm concerned Streisand can make the rest of her output from the vaults. It's not as if these aren't new recordings. Oh be jealous I'm seeing her at the Bowl!
