  • A great addition to my holiday collection!

This is the newest addition to the Cincinnati Pops' recording legacy, which began under the late Erich Kunzel and continues with conductor John Morris Russell. The orchestra sounds terrific -- at times warm and intimate (like in Gounod's Ave Maria), and at other times, powerful or jazzy (like in Jolly Old St. Nicholas and Santa Claus is Comin' to Town with New York Voices). Vocalist Rodrick Dixon blew me away with his rendition of Go Tell it on the Mountain. The album also contains I Believe, which is performed every year at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade -- a tradition in my household. All in all, a great addition to our family's holiday music collection!

A beautiful album with a very refreshing sound! The Orchestra and Soloists sound fabulous. Will absolutely be part of my holiday party music this season.
