What I find amazing with Helen Jane Long is that it seems that you can hear the tone of every key she strikes with her lithe fingers. She is really a viruoso pianist, and she's also pretty young, I think. She is one of a kind--brilliant!

This album is decent, but cant be compared to previous ones. Nevertheless, it will be a nice addition to a quiet evening dedicated to recollections and wine enjoyment.

As a classical pianist myself, I have played most of the music of Helen's earlier works; Embers and Porcelain, and I am always so impressed at the simplicity and beauty of all of her compositions. This latest album of hers does not disappoint. In fact it is some of the most peaceful, mediative and reflective music available. She's a true talent! Love her! I want her to return to California for another concert soon!!
