Def not the best in dance

I don't know about any of you other "trance/techno/dance" (or whatever they call it now a days) enthusiasts, but I can't fall in love with this new dub step type of music. I've been tragically in love with trance the first time I heard tiesto's in search of sunrise 2, song 2 some 10 years ago. I remember where I was and how I felt. I just don't get that chills down my back, wow feeling over this dub step stuff. Some I like, but I miss the super deep vocal trance I fell in love with years ago. Maybe I'm just too cool for school and can't learn to change with the times. But I'm constantly looking for music that'll change my stance and more & more let down. I used to be called crazy for liking the stuff. And now everyone has gone main stream dub step- pop! I remember when tiesto, armin van buuren, blank & jones, Corsten and even Schulz would come out with CD and I never questioned if it'd be good. I looked forward to their music. Not so much anymore.. True fans knew their good music from the beginning. This isn't the best they have to offer you, trust me. I hope there are still down to the core trance fans out there.

I'm so tired of the obnoxious, overused, stereotypical female vocalists in trance music these days! Sure, it can be nice in a few songs (such as "Love Rain Down") but when it's used in literally at least 3/4 of the songs on the album, I get sick of the voices! Why can't we go back to the way trance used to be: creative melodies, interesting progressions, and all synth and beats. I will always go back to Schulz's album "Progression". It's just a fantastic example of trance done right.

Best album of 2012 hands down! Every track is a winner. This album sets the stage for how deep dark trance should sound. I was fortunate enough to catch his set in Albuquerque this October, the guy killed it. Markus Schulz is nasty!!

Like some have stated, there's only a few tracks here that are truly worthy of listening over and over. Was expecting more from the UnicornSlayer, but still 4-5 great tracks from Markus will get me by until another release! ✊✊✊✊✊✊
