David Archuleta, although he is away on his two year Mission, has succeeded in leaving his fans with an amazing song- and I know, a fabulous to-be-released album! The lyrics in this song are very interpretive and make the listener very contemplative; as to reflect on their life and/or the meaning of the song, which, in my opinion, is a perfect song to leave behind for two years. The lyrics, however, we are unsure as to whether he wrote or not. As for what we do know, David himself composed the melody and music for the song. The music makes the song so hauntingly beautiful. The second the song starts with David beginning to sing, a rare occurrence in pop music, with the words, "I know you don't want to say goodbye yet." From second one, you can tell that this song will evoke emotions in you that you might have suppressed; and I was brought to uncontrollable tears. Flawless song! Can't wait to for the official release of the rest of "BEGIN."
