I bought this the instant it came out. I'd been a big fan of Niki and the Dove ever since I first discovered them on 'Under the Radar' magazine and goodness they've been one of my most beloved bands ever since. If you haven't heard them before you should give them a listen... you shall not a regret it!

This has to easily be one of the best pop albums I have heard in years. Melodramatic and yet so personal. Not one track is a misstep. Each one is complete and distinct but together create an almost cinematic experience. I haven't been been able to stop listening to this. Why has no one heard of them yet?

I have appreciated listening to NIki & The Dove.
I do not normally listen to this genre of music, but I have found it both exciting and relaxing at the same time.
Some of the songs are especially innovative, and interesting.

I can't overstate how awesome this album is. Some have said it is chill and atmospheric; maybe that's true, but I hear it mostly as dynamic, dramatic, and fresh. There's definitely some old-fashioned influence in the chord progressions, but it takes those things and elevates them to modern (or postmodern) heights of new-ness. Lyrics are super-cool and honest. Do yourself a favor and get into this album.
