TRACK #8 - "The Luv Cat" has got to be one of the most original musical masterpieces I have EVER HEARD. The MUSIC follows & enhances her speech. What a concept!! Very nice!!

Best one off the album in my opinion. Kinda like a mix between rap, and techno very creative. You can see clearly how the artist gave special attention to that track in specific.

This album explores SO MANY styles and human emotions. I've never been a huge fan of electronic music, but THIS ALBUM has actually made me a FAN!! I was surprisingly VERY IMPRESSED with these songs. I just had to leave a review. Below, are a few of my favs : "The Luv Cat" has multiple melodic layers of acoustic instruments, on top of clean, electro breakbeats, and follows a powerful spoken-word speech. This one made me cry and dance at the same time. What's unique about this song is that the MUSIC seems to be built around the WORDS. Whereas most songs, it's the other way around. I'd say that THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST SONG ON THE ALBUM. "Get ready" is a cool mixture of Trance-like melodies & textures, on top of hard-hitting, body-rockin' BEATS. Imagine is the Chemical Bros. made a Trance track. "SingDubtrip" takes you on a journey into outer-space. If there's such thing as "Progressive-Dubstep", than THIS IS IT. Be patient with this one. It builds you up all the way until the end. "Back in the Groove" is one that really gets you going. It's full of heavy beats & distorted bass synths, but rocks it with a pumpin' horn section along with funk guitar, dramatic builds, and a touch of hip-hop. If you're looking for songs with Vocals, go for "Maple Syrcus" which is some nicely produced Trip-Hop beats, with female vocals throughout. Or "Take Shelter", which could pass for a holiday song, but touches on subjects like how our finite bodies merely keep us from understanding space & time's infinite wonders, and how in the end, we will know. One that really sticks out is "Tree of Knowledge", which is something you just don't hear in electronic music these days. This has a middle-eastern feel. But it's got BIG BEATS, bass, & builds, with a constant hum of sitars & drones. Very original. For the most part, ALL SONGS are WELL-PRODUCED, with a good mix of both Organic & Electronic instruments, BIG BEATS, BASS, & BUILD-UPS, but are also well-balanced with spaces of subtleties, emotion, & softness. NOTHING PREDICTABLE that's for sure. Right when you think you know what's coming next, SURPRISE!! Great hooks, experimental sounds, and lots of originality. This one's WAY AHEAD OF IT'S TIME, but could satisfy almost ANY type of listener out there. WELL WORTH THE DOWNLOAD!! Thanks! -ex
