To Those Who Wait (Live) - EP

I'll admit it - I got this EP as a bonus reward to Bethany's Kickstarter campaign. With that admission out of the way, this was the most surprisingly stellar collection of songs I've heard in a long time. The light, breezy feel of the acoustic tracks featuring resonator guitar in more than place seem to lift Bethany's voice to an all new place. The entire EP is easy to listen to in just about any playlist I'd add it to - for the depth of the lyrics to the sheer enjoyability of each song. Bravo! Can hardly wait for the new 2017 full-length album!

I've always been amazed that Bethany Dillon's music has grown with my life situation. 22 years old, feeling a bit broken, 38 weeks pregnant, and overall emotional -- songs like Satisfy remind me that Christ satisfies me in a way that no one, not even my husband, can. To Those Who Wait is more reflective that, being in this stage of life, even though it's easy to get overwhelmed, I'm called to wait on God and trust in Him. And then there's the lullaby which feels oh-so-relevant even if I don't have my baby quite yet. And she tops it off with a lighthearted reminder that Jesus was an incredible man even in His meekness. Music-wise, I love the country-feel that this album takes on. I liked her other albums, but I can sense a different vibe in this EP and, like I said, definitely what someone in my situation needs to hear.

This EP is something you will turn on when you need encouragement, (and maybe if you wanna shed a few tears.) Bethany's vocals are flawless, and so beautiful. The harmonies, and ups and downs in the singing is my favorite part. Not to mention the lyrics. She has done it again.

I LOVE this EP! It is one of my most played albums. Though it only has a few songs, each song sounds so different from the others, which I love! I HIGHLY recommend getting this. You absolutely won't regret it. Especially if you love good acoustic driven music. <3

I adore this EP. I have become a faithful fan of Bethany Dillon starting with Stop & Listen...and since I am a HUGE Shane&Shane fan...well, you just can't get much better than Bethy-D(as my daughters call her), Shane, and some grass roots sounds! Love, love, love it.

what a refreshing sound from beth and shane! i feel like i've grown up with beth because we are the same age, and hearing the new wisdom and maturity in her songs (both characteristic of her older work) is an encouragement to me. great instrumentation and arrangements! thanks for putting this out!

Since I first came across her, she quickly became my favorite female artist. Ever. Although I LOVE her voice and guitar playing, I became a Bethany Dillon fan years ago because of her heart, honesty, wisdom, and sold-outness (that's a word, right?!) for the Lord. As I've followed her music, blog, etc. over the years, all of that has become evidently stronger and that's so encouraging to see from someone who still has so many more years of experience, growth, and wisdom to gain! It's great to hear her husband Shane on there as well. Their voices sound awesome together. You won't regret getting this EP!! I've had it on repeat since I got it. Keep it up, Bethany. We are all so thankful for you and using your gifts to glorify the Lord! Thank you!

It is so good to see you back writing music. You know you are my favorite singer! There are few artisits who write lyrics with the depth and the soul that you do. Love you and I absolutely love the EP!

Wow it has been a couple years and it is SO refreshing to hear Bethany again. She is such great believer, worshipper and musician. I was so touched that she is taking time off to raise her daughter (and i hear she and shane have another blessing on the way! ) not many people would place their musical career on hold for family, but she did and I commend her for being a great mother. Anyways, I will be playing this over and over till my daughter can recite all the words! hahaha. Support. Appreciate. BUY IT!!
