I have been a fan since Bat Out of Hell was on 8-track. This CD was creative and love the Rock and Soul version of California Dreaming. Thanks Meat and Band.

He keeps trying new things, or should I say perfecting new things.
Might not be what one would expect but Meat is always changing and I love it!
Awesome!!!

Just listening to the snippets for me was pure torture! I think every album after Bat Out Of Hell II got gradually worse. There will never be another Bat Out Of Hell II from him. I miss THAT Meat Loaf a lot!
Awesome!

Everything he writes turns to gold! I hope he's still singing at 90! One of the most talented singer/songwriteers ever. He's only one step behind Billy Joel:)

AMAZING ALBUM!!! So great to hear a legendary artist like Meat Loaf sing from the heart and resonate so much truth and passion about subjects that are relevent in the world today. Thank you Meat Loaf for all of your truth, courage and majesty!!!

I have been a life long fan and this record was a horrible. There was only one song I liked on the whole thing and it was the song "live or die" I was going to purchase the entire record, but decided to listen to the clips first. GLAD I DID because most of the songs are not good. How sad!
Disappointment from Hell...

I am a huge Meat Loaf fan, and have seen him live numerous times. I have at least found a couple of songs from each of the recent albums that were good and truly had the Meat Loaf "feel" to them. Sadly I will have to pass this entire album up, because none of the songs appeal to me at all. So now I have to wait and hope he makes another album that really does it, but without Steinman writing his stuff it just isn't the same.
Will Meat ever sign great like before?

I miss the Jim and Meat Loaf duo. I have to agree with DrawGuy on this one. Hang Cool had some good songs with grit to them, but Handbasket, no so much. I feel like that Handbasket is like Midnight at the lost and found to Dead Ringer. Meat should take the Southern Rock more personal and write songs about his experiences. His autobiography has some great song potentials in that alone.
