Heard a song off this on the radio driving home late one Saturday night, and it was the perfect song at the perfect time. I was exhausted, but remembered the name the next day. Searched this out and listened to the samples multiple times before deciding I had to have it. I can't explain why I like it - usually I prefer more melodic, pre-bop jazz… but there's just something hypnotic and perfect about these tracks… the musicians are just so good, it makes the music seem effortless and inevitable yet you know you're listening to music created perfectly in the moment.
