Great EP. Hard to believe this didn’t even chart when it first came out.

Listening to SAP you get the sense of where the band was at that point in time. Coming off a tour for the Facelift album and sliding into an acoustic album doesn’t really make any sense but, Alice In Chains pulls it off. The first 4 tracks are key. Right Turn is epic given that it’s like seeing time in a bottle. Brother is an epic tribute to Cantrell’s own brother. Listening to Got me wrong I can’t help but, pick out scenes from Clerks. Am I Inside seems like a classical composition and less like a rock song. Great EP nonetheless.

Coming of age, these guys were like the big brother I wish I had. Lots of us had older brothers in the Middle East (Desert Storm, Saudi Arabi) and I know for a fact how they returned and acted Alice In Chains is definitely the voice of a generation.
