Jonathan sings to his audience with his lyrics. He has been inspired by jazz musicians of all ages and his voice is soulful. I recommend his album if you are looking for music for a date night, music to give for a gift or just certain lyrics you can’t find with other musicians. Jonathan sings at local events in San Diego, Vegas and the East Coast. His vocals sound the same recorded and live. I highly recommended his album.

Jonathan Karrant is amazing. Solid voice, solid style, solid musicianship. I have been enjoying his album nonstop. I love the reinterpretations of On and On, Don't Let me be Lonely, and In My Life. I could really listen to him all day. I hope he enjoys a long and great career.

I love Jonathan! This album is awesome! I listen to it all the time! I've seen Jonathan perform live and he puts on a GREAT show! His versions of Doodlin', Drinkin' Again and In My Life are the best I've heard. I can't wait for his next album! I know he's on his way to international success!

The cool breezy attitude of this album, coupled with Jonathan's rich resonant vocals,makes this a sure hit ! It also doesn't hurt to wrap some sensitive musicians around you with ears and chops to create just the right feel .

A refreshing approach to the classics!

If you want a mix of great jazz piano, fun lyrics, interesting twists on some unexpected standards all delivered by a wonderful voice, this is the album for you. I love the mix of music and Jonathan is at his best here, one minute taking you to a lonely bar, the next, to your beloved hometown. My fave is Drinkin' Again, but be sure to check out the cool ending of In My Life. Great music - great singer!!! Amy

I can listen to this album over and over. Jonathan Karrant's vocals are right on! He makes it sound effortless, a true original! Through each track, he takes you in a journey. I love his song choices - he has revitalized many tunes, several that I had not heard before. The musicians on the album are also a treat, a lot if talent going on here. This is Jonathan's debut album but his voice is seasoned. Some of my favorites are Doodlin', Drinking Again, On & On, This Is Always, and his compelling version of In My Life...I may as well list every track though. This album will definitely leave you wanting more from this young vocalist. I am positive he will have a bright future and I am looking forward to a next album from Jonathan Karrant!
