I ranked this CD the #1 Christmas album of 2011. These songs will sweep you away to a time & place where Christmas isn't run down by commercialism. These are timeless arrangements for any time of year -- no gimmicky jingle bells or synthesizers. The real centerpiece is Sarah's sweet and captivating vocals. To top that, 11 of the 12 tracks are original songs, all executed with excellence. Hard to pick just 1 top track, but I'd probably vote for "All Is Well". A+ album!

This is a great investment in beautiful music! LOVE that it is mostly orginal songs to the heart, not remakes of the Christmas songs that are WAY overdone!!

For sure, this is a Christmas album you don't want to miss, especially if you like Amy Grant's best-selling series of Christmas albums. Everything that works about Amy's "Home For Christmas" is in full effect on Sarah Hart's "This Winter's Eve," including a guest background vocal by Amy Grant. This is my top Christmas album of the year. This album blesses and soothes my soul and is a beautiful offering of praise to our King.
