As I have become familiar with Bear McCreary’s work I am delighted that I can still be surprised by revisions and reimagining of previous pieces I already love. Prelude to War is a remarkable piece of music that evokes strong feelings of growing conflict, service and valor. Playing this piece on the accordion was an excellent idea and thoughtfully executed. Well done Bear, well done.

If you are a Battlestar Galictica fan, you know the music of the great Bear McCreary! This is his piece "Prelude To War" done solely on his accordion. He even manages to beat the percussion parts using the instrument as a "drum". This is a wonderful, lush piece of music for orchestra.
