Is iTunes a new app?

Seriously, iTunes has MILLIONS of subscribers and NOBODY has ever reviewed this?
Uhhmmm, Yeah. I don't even know what to say about that, except: If you were curious enough to end up here reading this review, I can only assume you have at least a passing curiousity about this kind of music/jazz/etc..
All I can say is my experience has shown me that this is kind of like a William Shatner record in terms of the reactions I've seen from it: either you love it or you hate it.
I love it. But I love Can and the Beau Brummels, so I can't be trusted to offer opinions for mainstream listeners. If you bend towards the new and the unlit corners of music, this CD might just be the ticket. For all others, you know, who like Brad Mehldau and think Dave Douglas is "Avante Garde" you'll hate this.
For anyone else who has a musical aesthetic that falls firmly in the "other" category, I'd wager that this is a worthwhile listen for them. Everyone else should probably just stay away. It's too cool for you...
