"Day at the Dog Races" is one of the most compelling songs of the whole jazz/rock era. I was astounded when I first heard it. Certainly reminiscent of Weather Report. And to get this tune from a "roots" type of band like Little Feat is mind-boggling.
Favorite Little Feat Album

This one is my personal favorite of all Little Feat albums and catches Lloyd George at the top of his game. It's incredibly tight and well crafted. Also the only album that has New Delhi Freight Train which is my favorite Feat song.
