Both albums are worth buying-
Zombie has the best screams available.
The theme and breakdowns
Are really really good .
Dead throne is
A masterpiece.
The structure is beautifully put together with the hardest beats you can find and the soft melted in. Fast runs-slam breaks-chorus life-and an instrumental that is so uplifting-with one of the hardest funnest breakdowns I replay still. (Forever decay) dead throne the intro still gives chills-and untidaled offers a breakdown so addictive I haven't found one like it since. Born to lose has amazing flow and lyrics to scream to. Some things you have to pass by and or get used to. The slow or the dull. But fans like it all regardless for their one of a kind sound atmosphere. The album is brutal. There is worth in buyin it and not regretting the money loss you hate. You have to find patiently the gold and enjoy the different. Great band

I love the vocals as well as the instrumental technicality that TDWP have always had. Mike's style has always helped given the band a signature part of their sound. My vocals were so influenced by them my highs sound almost the same and it's hard to master that tone too
Not so great

Instrumentally it was absolutely great but Mike's vocals... Wow hopefully this next album will be somewhat better (as in better vocals) I know it will definitely be instrumentally because they always progress. But I digress, it's alright if you want weird screams
Definite change but still great

I started listening to the TDWP as With Roots Above and Branches Below came out, and I fell in love with the band and decided to listen to past albums anticipating the same feeling as Roots Above, however I find myself only liking Plauges and Zombie EP. They have definitely progressed, matured, and improved as a band, however we have to understand that they released their first album when they were barely 20, Mike stated in a interview he wishes not to play songs from their first 2 albums. Anyhow, Dead Throne is still a very good album and is my second favorite behind WIth Roots Above.
Genius

Not a lot of bands can go for 12 years and keep every original member besides 1. These boys know what they're doing and are the true definition of American metalcore. No band could ever top they're talent. They are truly one of a kind and I'm so proud to have they're lyrics tattooed on my back. This is not just a band, they're all heros. This band will always be my #1 favorite of all time
I HATE IGNORANT PEOPLE

jeez people the screams sound FINE I mean goodness. I love mikes vocals. Especially on this album, I mean half of you probably can't even do vocals like him. So just please critique his voice in a more appropriate way.

Personally the only songs that I like are dead throne, born to lose and holdfast, which happens to be my favorite. I love the message (professing Christ as Savior) but other than the album is kinda repetitive.
