When I experienced Susana Baca in a small intimate gathering in west hollywood in 2001, I never have forgotten her voice and her performance. Daily i am feed and nourished by electronica, she is the only performer outside of this digital relm to have the most soothing effect on me, more so than the chill of all chill music out there. Thank you and Bravo to the rare performer, Susana Baca.

I came across Susana Baca on a compilation cd, and immediately fell in love with her voice. I don't speak spanish, so I treat this cd as an instrumental and she has perfected her instrument. Simply beautiful.

I happen to find this by chance, when purchasing a tito puente concert (with Susana Baca) . She is very talented and her band beautifully accompanys her; you can tell that she puts her soul in it when she sings . The recordings are very clear and well utilizes the stereo.

I discovered this album accidentally, and I'm hooked. I've been playing nothing else for the past 4-5 days. I'm not particularly into Latin music, I don't understand Spanish, but I've been enjoying the smoothness and richness of these songs so much that I'm buying her entire discography.
