Some great songs, but not all...

I love this album because it has great songs in it. If you don’t like the other songs, then just don’t listen to it. A few songs I like in it are:
Monarchy of Roses
Factory of Faith
The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie
Look Around

Not great... probably my last pick of RHCP albums right behind the self titled and By the Way. Sorry, I didn't care for BTW. Although, Monarchy of Roses is pretty cool but, most of the album kinda lacks the intensity of their past albums. My advice to anyone who is new to RHCP, get Californication, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Stadium Arcadium, or Mothers Milk. All top the list of best Albums by the band. This is just okay.

Better than “The Getaway”

To get a better scope of “I’m With You”, factor in the b-sides album, “I’m Beside You”, then realize that this could’ve been better album or another ambitious double album. The final cut in everyone’s mind would certainly be different and better than what we get here. Same goes for all the Rubin era albums.
While a lot of my issues echoes the sentiments shared with other critics, this is possibly my favorite body of work outside their work with John. I was hopeful that their next album could potentially top this one and that they’d stick to their guns while working out the kinks. Then, “The Getaway” happened...
Proves they still got it even without John

People turn their noses at the slightest hint of professional production. PRODUCTION DOES NOT EQUATE TO BAD MUSIC.

This album is unique in it's own way and simply reflects the emotions and style of the transcending Chili Peppers. This album does not necessarily replicate its predecessors but transcends in its own way which makes the Chili Peppers the Chili Peppers. Yes it is sad that Frusciante is nothing more than a memory however, Josh K holds his own. I have honestly been with them from the beginning and I truly appreciate this album. It is unique in its own right and I love 3/4 of the album as it has grown on me since I have listened to at least 5 times now. Rock on RHCP peace and love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Meh

My least favorite RHCP album. Simply put, none of the songs compare to even the middle of the road songs on Stadium or By the Way.
It's ok people

I did not like this album. It took a few listens and now I will say its a good album . Solid . There are a lot of good tracks on this album . Everyone John is gone the band is still talented and the new guitarist is very good . Get over it
