I think people must have felt sorry for Sly and said they would help him cover his own songs WHICH he can no longer sing well. Aww. I feel sorry for him too because I STILL love his classic original tracks. My sympathy and love for his classics is the only thing that stopped me from giving this mess one star. Again. Awww. This was sad.

Sly, Where is your new stuff, Have you lost your touch,,that made us move? Come on brother you can do better than this,
still waiting for your best, I heard all these songs before.you know what I'm saying? I did like Get away, We got your back
From Brooklyn where we keep it real.

Stick to the original material. Why he felt the need to regurgitate classic hits is probably just a desperate attempt to cash in. Maybe it's worth buying the few new tracks but I'd pass the the full album download.
Don't believe good reviews

The people who are giving this album 5 stars are listening to a different album than I am. This is a royal mess. Stick with good memories of Sly from days gone by and spend your money on the originals
Sensational!

When I saw this I thought garbage! And mostly the dance mixes are. But the rest is funky, hip and cool! It's fun and takes me back to Sly keeping me waiting in the 70's for hours then performing for 45 minutes with no apologies.

Wow! These new versions sound incredible, and the 3 unreleased tracks ("Plain Jane," "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" and "Get Away") are outstanding. So glad that the LEGEND is back in the game!
Amazing!!

I've been waiting for this album and it doesn't disappoint!! Who can ask for more than Sly, Jeff Beck, and Bootsy on one album! 5 stars!
