My hubby and I can't get enough of Brentalfloss- he is a genius! We love the original albums best - but now we can listen to floss WITH our kids around too! And then go back to the other albums when she is in bed- He is a musical comedic genius - so witty, so clever- a real joy for us gamer kids now that we are grown ups. His albums make life more fun!!!!!!

He needs a G - rated version of Bits of me. The only one I could download was Super Mario 3 and Papa Yoshi. :(

I admit, I wasn't sure at first if I would feel the same about the toned down version, but this is so great. It shows that the crudeness isn't really needed to make these songs really special. This album is great and the best part is it is 100% inclusive and isn't limiting your audience. One comment though (and its like closing the barn door after the horses are already out) In the future, you should make the main CD the "G-Rated edition" without labeling it as such in the title, (or at least less prominently), and then make the EXPLICIT version the one that you highlight as the alternative album. I know from experience of selling my stuff for family audiences that just the fact that you are saying this is a G-rated version implies that there is a naughty version and that in itself will steer away purchases for families if they think that your main content isn't something for their kids. The model that you have now is only going to cater to people who ALREADY have your album and specifically want family-friendly versions - naming your album what if this album had G-Rated lyrics is just going to tell moms and dads they probably wouldnt want to pick this up if the original versions were naughty. It also wouldnt hurt if you had some sort of marketing subtitle on all your albums like "Your favorite video game themes like youve never heard them" or something. just to entice those not already familiar with your work. At first glance, no one is going to know the niche you are catering to. Its a great way to isolate and capture your market Food for thought.

Just the fact that you care about your fans enough to make a completely Family-Friendly version of you first CD is not only sweet, but awfully considerate. Not many artists do that these days, so I'd like to give you props for doing this for the kids! I'll be sure to purchase this G Rated version next.

I love brentalfloss' music. I can't express that enough. But the language is the thing I hate. Zelda with lyrics and final fantasy classic are my FAVORITES. But the language. That's why I love this G-rated version. Clean, but still awesome. Go brentalfloss!
