Love all of these songs! They don't get old like some songs. By the way iTunes, one of the songs on this album is misspelled: Redeeming Love NOT redeemLing love. 86 the L. Please fix this.

Amy Stroup has one of those soft, comfortable voices that you could just listen to all day. The first time I heard Amy was in Smallville, Season 10's "Fortune" episode at the end when Chloe found out she was married to Oliver. They played Alas We Aspire. It was a great, romantic scene and the music fit perfectly. I'm a huge fan of Smallville and a huge fan of Amy thanks to the show. Her album is worth having.

I had the honor of seeing Amy preform live at a private event, during my lunch-hour, to promote her new CD. I quickly forgot about the sandwich I had brought along and became instantly fixated on the music. I haven't had this "love at first listen" with a singer/songwriter since I first heard Sean Colvin in the mid 1980's on VH1. This is a must purchase for any fan of the singer/songwriter genre'. Amy is sincere and her music is from the heart. Any commercial success is a pure derivative of her infectious artistry. One think about Amy that surprised me is that she's from Boston, lives in Nashville and has a completely unique sound and quality to her voice that doesn't seem hampered by any regional accent (at least to my ears). By the way, my 4.5, 7 and 9 year old kids love this album and frequently sing along to their favorite tracks. So parents, start thinking about how you explain what 'redeeming love' means!!! - Bear Seattle, WA

I just discovered Amy Stroup since Christmas, and I absolutely love her work! Her voice, the musical production, and her lyrics blend seamlessly into a dreamy, beautiful musical experience. It's been quite awhile since an artist has taken me by surprise, but Amy's music has accomplished that, and much more. Can't wait to keep listening - Amy, you've won a fan for life.

I just saw her last night in Nashville and she was AMAZING! She sounds even better live than on her albums :)
