  • I miss the Tiesto version of In Search of Sunrise..

Nothing against Richard Durand's DJ skills, however "In Search of Sunrise" did not start off by being just another dance CD. It was different. From the beginning you could here it in Tiesto's music selections for the series. Little of this - little of that, and always with taste from where the location was for that particular CD - be it Los Angeles, Brazil, Asia, etc. Yeah for the most part in was always upbeat, but it was different. I dunno how else to describe those earlier incarnations, but Tiesto knew what he was doing and could jump out of the "norm" and masterfully lay some tracks out that you could not call a dance or trance album. This is a fine dance CD I guess?, but this/these are not "In Search of Sunrise" CD's I grew addicted to by any means - None of Richard Durand's versions of In Search of Sunrise compilations are unfortunately.

I had to listen to this album 3 times for it to finally sink in. It is really good. I am a bit bothered that i had to listen to it a couple of times but the end result is a solid album that flows smoothly. I like Ferry Corsten's Once Upon A Night slightely better but this is definetely worth the purchase
  • Relaxing, energetic and full of uplifting tunes

Durand proves he can hang once again. It took a couple of listens to appreciate the entire compilations but if you put in that kind of ever to discover each track you'll be greatly rewarded. A rewarding purchase for all ISOS fans

There is no other word to use right now. Richard Durand has shown why he is the top notch dj that he is. I think he deserves a lot more recognition that he gets. Summertime..........with friends on the beach...........late night or mid day.....THIS is the prescription for pure trance bliss. :):) <3
