  • Elegance, Style and Wit

The piano is a remarkable invention. Millions play it, many master it, only a few paint with it. Larry Goldings takes all those same notes and keys to a completely different level. He finds simple ways to express the familiar with fresh new angles. There is nobody quite like him. He inspires. He is fun. He is sublime. He is a gift.

A wonderful collection of simple yet stunning songs on the piano. The exceptionally talented Larry Goldings takes an understated approach with these songs allowing each note to drip from the piano like honey onto toast, each bite becoming sweeter and sweeter.

Larry Goldings is known for his amazing organ chops. But he is also one of the best piano players that I have ever heard. From the very first song to the last, this album shows you the creative spirit that drives him. No one can interpret a song like Larry. I mean, how many jazz covers of Take Me Out To The Ballgame have you heard? This is probably your first. "In My Room" captures the bittersweetness of the original while adding elements that Brian Wilson never imagined. This is a great album and worthy of many listens.
