i dunno who is from louisiana on here who commented but i am a true louisianian and i can honestly say that any thing marc does will always be good!!!!!! always!! pop ??? so what !!soul is the root of all music so without soul there would be nothing to listen to period!! marc definately has that and will never lose it!!! i have seen him at least 7 times and every time he was on point!! so hope to hear more of this new stuff soon!!!

After quite a few years enjoying Marc's songs, releases, and incredible live shows, it's exciting to hear him reach further into new styles. His energy and diversity keep that thread of soulful grooving in the mix with every type of song he throws down.
No question, "Lucky" live is the track here. That said, I'm ready for a new FULL-LENGTH album, though. Every time I listen, I go back and listen again. Well done and much respect to Atlantic Records for keeping beautifully performed, real music alive in a time of sterile cartoon music. Keep up the great work!

I'm glad that folks are feeling passionate about Marc's music, whether positive or negative. S.O.S was also a different direction for Marc, so trust that he knows what he's doing as an artist and roll with it. I'm loving all three songs for different reasons, and can't wait for the full-length.

When Marc has the right material to work with he is as good as it gets. His best songs are when his voice stands out front of the instruments, Only everything is trash! The only song that is even mediocre is Lucky, I wouldn't buy any of this, please go back to your soulful, down home music Marc.
