Opera 2.0 with a real sound

I really enjoyed this album!! If you're a classical music fan, you'll appreciate the creativity of the arrangements, but even if you're not, there's an interesting "real" quality to Susan's voice. Compared to some other recordings from artists like Renee Fleming, etc., I feel like there's a tangibility in Susan's singing that makes the sound more accessible to the average person. The title track, Chanson Boheme, is my favorite! It's an awesome twist on a classic song that everyone knows!
Acoustic Opera!

The album is a fusion of world music styles with classical opera arias. All of the instrumentation is minimal -- unlike traditionally large operatic scores, with full orchestra. The arrangements are meant to sound intimate and acoustic.
