This was one of my favorite albums from the time it came out until I stopped listening to music altogether because it had all changed to screaming, rap, electronic nonsense and lyrics concerning subjects my generation saved for late night discussions with only those we trusted with our innermost beliefs. I could listen to Judy Collins and feel moved. Having said all that, I was extremely disappointed to find several of these songs had been remastered with totally different accompaniments that were just weird. It seemed like someone had shoved an older, less confident Judy Collins into a recording room with set accompaniments and rushed her through the process. Judy, if this is what happened, tell them to redo it and do it right!! Your music does not need "updating".

The song you're thinkingof is called "Angel" and it's by Sara MchLachlin (sorry about the spelling)

I love everything she does! If I were rich, I'd follow her just listen to her sing! I have all Judy's records and refuse to get rid of them... My life would be empty if I could never hear her sing again.

At 72 it still brings tears and a kind of sweet heart break since my 20's. All the lovers of that age and my travels far and wide its melancholia when leaving a place and when arriving in a new place. Places like lovers, I will never forget dear Judy hitchhiking down Highway 1 thru Big Sur singing your songs.

She has a nice voice but her eyes are terrifying!! Also the song send in the clowns gives me nightmares! Stay away from that song

I can only speak for "Both Sides Now," which was played in the very last scene of the season finale of Mad Men. It was a perfect song for the mood and tone of the show - and after looking up the lyrics, a perfect match to the theme of the show! I had no idea about this song and after "Shazaming" it on my phone, I had to have it! Love her haunting voice!
  • Good voice, Goofy accompaniment.................

She has a great voice and the songs are soothing but the accompaniment ruins it.

Won't download "Cook with Honey", Send in the Clowns, and Amazing Grace.... I'd rate the artist 5, but reliability of download a 1. Somehow misses the mark with what I paid for.

My mom loved this album, and it is the reason I moved out.
