I have nothing but praise for this album. Matt Palmer makes music that's thoughtful, fun and catchy. And if it's evidenced by nothing else, "I Wish" was stuck in my head for about two weeks straight.
Not to belittle his talent with comparisons, but there's a Craig David feel to a lot of these songs, only Matt is "fresher" (for lack of a better term) and smarter, bringing back classic elements of R&B/pop while infusing them with his modern, clever style.
Damn, it's Catchy

I can't deny a good song when I hear one, and this album is full of 'em. Matt Palmer is a young talent - songwriter, singer, producer - who will be making some serious waves in the next few years. I'm claiming him now!

I was expecting this to be yet another average release from just another aspiring R&B artist, but after just the 1st track, I was hooked. Matt Palmer is definitely not in line with his peers- he exceeds them in regards to tastefulness and style. I can definitely say this album is not another meaningless arrangement of noise about sex and drugs, but a thoughtful, necessary, and refreshing reminder of what GOOD R&B is, and can still be. Twenty-thousand thumbs up, Matt Palmer!!!!!! buy this and you'll see what I mean.
