Masters at Work - and play!

In the mid-sixties, Chet Atkins brought guitarist Jerry Reed to RCA records, where Atkins became Reed's producer. Together they worked on all of Reed's LP's. Occasionally Chet would play on a song or two, on Reed's albums. It was only a matter of time before Reed and Atkins would release an album of instrumental guitar duets.
Over the years there would be three studio LP's released by this duo.
The first: "Me and Jerry" is geared more towards Atkins style of play. Their follow up: "Me & Chet" leans a bit towards Reed's style of play. Both albums are classic.
Many years later Reed & Atkins would release their final album together: 'Sneakin' Around" (1992). Other than their incredible talents, their friendship, good humor and personalities are on display throughout.
In my opinion, every one of these albums is a "must have".
