More Than the Watchman - EP

It is wonderful to finally find Marty on itunes! I fell in love with his music in the mid-80's and was finally able to attend one of his services several years later when our local Messianic congregation invited him to present. It was there that I first purchased this recording in the form of a cassette tape. Over the next ten years I wore that tape out and eventually purchased the CD version from Marty's website. This recording is a perfect marriage of melody, lyrics and scripture. From his humorous and entertaining testimony found in A Jew Born Anew to the hauntingly beautiful More than the Watchman, Marty captures the gospel message in music and conveys to us the nature of Christian prayer life and our yearning for a relationship with our Saviour that is authentic and practical. Marty is a modern day psalmist who sets the message of the gospel and the words of our Lord to music. All of his albums are expertly and beautifully crafted. This was the one that captured me. Enjoy.
