I like the original versions of all of these songs (except Fall Back Down, I don't listen to Rancid), but the acoustics made me like them a lot more. I used to not like River because it was so auto-tuned to the point that it got annoying. It grew on me, but I like the acoustic version better because it really makes you appreciate how beautiful the lyrics are and what a meaningful song it is. Lights is an amazing singer, as you can hear on this EP, so she doesn't need to use auto-tune to hide the fact that she can't sing, she uses it to give her voice a unique sound, one that isn't natural. She is an electronic artist, she has to play around with her sound like that. If you are looking to get into her, I'd recommend listening to her acoustics first, and don't listen to the idiot below me because they claim this is bad and whoever listens to it is stupid but they give no reasons for this. If you're going to insult something, make sure you can back up your opinion.
