Elements

Heard "Water" on Echoes the other night and it was very relaxing so I bought album. I'm glad I did. It's a great album to relax to. Schoening takes you on a musical journey through the "elements." My only caveat is that because it is just him and a machine it does probably get monotonous even more quickly than most ambient music. Nevertheless, this guy is quite the talent to pull off all this musical kaleidoscope by himself.

This is yet another phenomenal CD which Matthew gifts to the world. Using the Cello as an instrument of pure expression of his soul, Matthew proves once again to be a master of his art. It's hard to believe this is just one man, one instument and a loopstation, and on top of that - it's live! Lie back and be bathed in sound or share a sacred dance with every note; either way you, will be blessed by the divine and raised to greater heights of ecstasy and joy.
