Sure Steve Mason has kept busy since the breakup with the Beta Band. King Biscuit Time and his disco records under the name Black Affair were pretty good. But lets admit it, Beta Band was one of the great modern British bands going and its hard to reach those level. With this new record Steve has come very close to those peaks. This record is very soothing and really lets Steve's strumming and voice shine. Steve must be in a better frame of mind and I'm happy to have him back. I know he was all over the place recently but this album should put Steve Mason back on the music map.
