alio die is by far the most unique and beautiful ambient music out there. this is the last cd he put out before everything started getting overrun with the ubiquitous zither, which unfortunately becomes somewhat annoying through overuse and tends to ruin a good number of his later releases. this was the last cd of his i was able to buy since virtually every cd after this is unfortunately somewhat ruined for me by that zither stuff that is on EVERY song! hopefully it will pass and alio die will get back making more of the wonderful music he made before 2003. this is his last offering that i was able to buy, but i'm hoping for some zitherless releases in the future.
